Want some soothing organic nourishment for your skin that will take you right through fall and winter? Check out this body salve from SkinFare. I love balms and lotions that come in a stick like this, they are so portable and easy to whip out and apply, then slip right back in your bag. When those fall and winter winds hit my face, I love to feed my skin some healthy moisture and I use coconut oil for this purpose all the time.
The SkinFood stick contains coconut oil and other healthy ingredients and it's way more portable than a jar of coconut oil. I love that it's certified organic, does not have much of a scent at all and comes in super eco friendly biodegradable packaging. Cool design too. Very easy to use and my skin just soaks it up. I've used it on my face, my feet, my hands, and elbows. I love it! This in an exciting company, I'm curious to see what else they come up with. Must have for the coming cold, find it HERE.

Organic Essence Shea Butter: My favorite Body Cream

It's that time of year where you really start looking around for lotion. At least I do. But a decent body cream, that's truly organic and free of toxic chemicals is not an easy thing to find. Organic Essence is a super eco friendly company (their biodegradable packaging is unheard of) that makes the most luxurious body products that really are good for you and the earth. Their Vanilla Orange Shea Butter Cream completely fits the bill with its comforting smell and yummy texture.
Organic Essence Shea butter is ethically sourced and supports 600 women in Ghana with fair trade wages. If a fraction of body care companies were this responsible and green, it would have a huge impact on the earth and its inhabitants. Organic Essence is setting a wonderful example and by supporting them we can encourage other companies to follow suit.
It is just a little spendy for my budget (though ridiculously cheap when you consider what goes into it), so I've been wondering how I'm going to continue my habit. I recently spotted it on LuckyVitamin.com at a pretty big discount, so I will be using this all winter long. A little goes a long way, so even if you pay full price, I think it's still a great value. Their lip balm is also fantastic, so check that out too.
